The operator of the campsite does not value large vehicles. When we checked in today, we were asked if it could get even bigger? The vehicle is 8 meters long. So actually quite normal these days. We were assigned a narrow gravel spot which the operator said is sufficient for one night per year. I would recommend him to put a sign on the street stating that vehicles only up to X meters are welcome.

We have been coming here for many years because the ambiance is right and it is just very beautiful here! In addition, there are sports activities such as rowing, canoeing, fishing, or cycling, all available. The price-performance ratio is moderate, and a very nice campsite manager who conveys to his visitors the feeling of spending their days here in a nice family atmosphere. Many campsites cannot keep up with how much attention is paid here to the well-being of the guests. Otherwise, everything is clean but simple. Good shopping options within 800 m (Lidl, ICA, etc.). Excursion opportunities in the surrounding area are very diverse and large. I can only recommend it.

We have been going to Filipstad for 11 years now and are very satisfied!!! We really like the quiet location by the lake and the opportunities for leisure activities. You can fish very well, go boating and canoeing, hiking, and cycling. The operator (Martin) always provides tips on what to see in the area. The evening raft trips on the lake are great, where you might get lucky and see eagles, moose, and beavers. Regarding the sanitary facilities, there are enough showers and toilets available, and they are clean; should it ever not be the case, which is rare, it will be taken care of immediately. If everyone would leave the sanitary facilities as they find them, everything would be fine!! Martin is in no way overwhelmed, always striving to make it as pleasant as possible for his guests! Martin is always approachable and very helpful. We are already looking forward to next year at Munkeberg !!!!

We were there at the end of May. The location is very nice, but the sanitary facilities are outdated and too few for the size. The operator seems overwhelmed - for example, the splash pool was clogged for 3 days at temperatures over 30 degrees, and the waste bins in the sanitary facilities overflowed even though there was hardly any activity at that time. It's a pity because a lot could really be made out of this place.

Very pleasant place on the drive north. View of the water from all (grass) spots. Very quiet. Supermarket within walking distance. "Boss" is apparently German (?)

Very nice, small campsite, the "most Swedish" campsite, sauna and campfire possibility directly by the lake, owner very friendly, everything clean. Absolute recommendation!

Located on the outskirts of the city, very quiet right by the lake. Sanitary facilities clean. The owner speaks German. Almost all sites have a view of the lake. Very cozy, well-maintained site and quick to bike into the city. We felt very comfortable.

Have been here for the 4th time now. German-speaking owner who gives good recommendations for the area. Beautifully located, almost every site has a view of the lake. Although the site borders a residential area, you don’t notice it at all. Several supermarkets nearby, easily accessible on foot. Canoes, pedal boats, and group rafts available for rent. Fishing opportunities. Small, but sufficiently large sandy beach. Sauna right by the water. Simple but clean sanitary facilities. Well-equipped kitchen. We will always return to this place and spend a few days here. I will be here.
