A quiet New Year's Eve for our dogs Verified

December 2025

A simple, uncomplicated, very quiet holiday for us and our dogs. We wanted to escape Berlin for New Year's Eve so that our dogs could have a peaceful time, and we were not disappointed. Never had such a lovely, relaxed New Year's Eve. The people at the place are incredibly friendly, we are very happy and would gladly return.

Very quietly located campsite, ideal for a New Year's getaway with a dog. In fact, most of the fireworks were far enough away that our dog was not stressed for the first time. In terms of location, it is a good starting point for excursions to Quedlinburg and its surroundings. Both the bus and the Harzer Schmalspurbahn are easily accessible on foot. Hikes in all directions are possible. The open sanitary building was modern, well-maintained, and clean. However, we found it unfortunate that the power supply was repeatedly interrupted, even though we had already requested upon arrival to refrain from using electric heaters. For us, this is obviously understood, but not for some other campers, who with their behavior cause everyone to be put under general suspicion! We can only appeal to reason and hope for improvement, so that the technology functions in the future!

quiet location in the Harz nature by a small reservoir; those who enjoy bathing and swimming are in the right place; shopping in the nearest village is not a problem.
