It is a very nice campsite, clean sanitary facilities, friendly service, tidy site. We were there in the low season and actually wanted to stay just one night, but the site and the offer (electricity/water) in the camping price (220kr per night) were so good for us that it became three nights and we explored our destinations from the site.

Large site with friendly and competent welcome. The adjoining small shop has really a lot, we were amazed. Sanitary facilities are spacious and well-maintained. Many permanent campers, now outside the season it feels like a ghost town - on the way to the washhouse at the top (near the area for the motorhomes) you encounter no one. At the washhouse, there is a separate nice kitchen with several cooking stations, an oven, and seating inside as well as outside on a small terrace. Everything is clean and tidy. Otherwise, there isn't much on the site. A church for seniors has a special daily program, which is why we only encounter them at the moment. Restaurant closed on Sundays. The beach is separated from the campsite by a highway, and the noise is noticeable. The beach is pure nature... no ice cream stand, no pier, no promenade, no other people. Again, everything is very deserted; today it is sunny and very windy, there is no direct target for walking, just a small hiking trail that leads through the narrow forest between the highway and the beach. For us, this is definitely not suitable; we had seen everything in 2 hours and are leaving again tomorrow. I also don't understand the good reviews on Google! It's best to go somewhere else.
