First Camp Sommarvik - Årjäng

A really nice campsite. For a bit more money, you can opt for a quieter and more spacious location with water connection and better views. I recommend locations 254 to 249. However, you are a little further from the toilet building. In general, there are far too few showers and toilets for the size of the campsite. You have to pay for the showers (10 Swedish Krona for 8 minutes). The pool costs 40 Swedish Krona per person per visit, but there is never any checking. Everyone knows this, and in my opinion, no one pays. Beautiful views of a lovely swimming lake, there is entertainment in the high season, there are nice playgrounds on the campsite, a sandy beach, and a mini-golf course. I highly recommend this campsite.

A terrible place. The restrooms are outdated and unkempt. The same goes for the showers. Everywhere smells of sewage. Several times there is no hot water in the shower, even though it is paid separately. The camping plots are narrow, far too close together and uneven. Throughout the entire site, it is unbelievably loud; also late into the night and early in the morning. The swimming pool costs extra. The snack bar at the pool is extremely poor; it is also dirty and unkempt here. The location right by the lake is beautiful but just as unmaintained as everything else (trash can overflowing, etc.) Why this place has 4 or even 5 stars remains unclear.

We had a small cabin and it was functional and completely sufficient. The communal facilities were very clean and were checked at least twice a day. In nice weather, we could swim in the lake, and in the rain, we went to the pool. The site is great for families.
