Functional campsite in a good location, plenty of shade and beautiful trees
The campsite is easy to find, well signposted. When we arrived at 11:15 AM and wanted to inquire about our reserved spot, even in Italian, the young lady at the reception didn’t even listen and immediately said "NO"; she probably needed to chat a bit more with her colleague... Pleasant Campsite
The reception is somewhat lethargic, usually conversing in English, but there were also staff who spoke good German. Great shuttle bus to the sea and to the city. It runs hourly with a 2-hour break at noon and in the evening. Animation at the pool, only in Italian, much to the dismay of our childre… More

After 45 years of camping with a tent, caravan, and motorhome, I have never experienced such a dirty and dilapidated sanitary area at a campsite as this.

Child-friendly campsite with a wide range of sports facilities and its own outdoor pool
The famous Roman road Via Julia Augusta leads through Finale Ligure, the most palm-rich town on the Italian Riviera. The lush green beach promenade looks almost like an exotic park. Just 1.5 km from this popular seaside resort is the 2-hectare Eurocamping Calvisio campsite with 130 pitches for caravans, campers, mobile homes and tents. The site, which also has a grocery shop and restaurant, is open from April to December. The flat meadow area with deciduous and coniferous trees, which extends at the foot of a wooded slope, has its own outdoor pool with paddling pool. Children are entertained with age-appropriate entertainment or romp around with their peers in the playground. While the youngest offspring ride ponies, teenagers and adults can take part in riding lessons on the grounds of Eurocamping Calvisio. Those who wish can also explore the surrounding area on hire bikes and e-bikes. Outdoor fitness is also on offer. Dogs are welcome on the campsite. A free shuttle bus takes guests to the centre of Finale Ligure or to the beach.
