Carlsberg Camping

This charming cabin offered a quiet retreat in the woods. Clean, well-equipped, and ideal for a peaceful short vacation. The view was fantastic. Perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking tranquility and relaxation. We will definitely return!

I have been here twice, once for fishing and once for business. Each time I stayed in one of their small cabins. The nearby sea is excellent for fishing, and I like the proximity to the city.

Carlbergs Camping offers a wonderful view of the nearby sea, with forests and fields right next to it, and the city is just a short drive away. Some facilities are a bit older, but everything was clean, and we had everything we needed for a lovely weekend.

The site is beautifully laid out and you have a nice view from above of the sea from the main path. Some sunbathing spots also have a view of the sea depending on their location! The sanitary facilities are old but functional, and there are also family showers with sufficient shower time. You swipe a card, and in the end, everything is settled with the rental fee. You also have card access to the associated small swimming pool. It is not heated! The owner also speaks German, and otherwise English is spoken! All the signs or information boards are written in Danish, and there is a small kiosk that is a bit expensive but has everything you might need if something is missing! Basic cleanliness and hygiene are sufficient. Dogs are allowed!!

The location is great with a nice view over the countryside. The staff are friendly. The number of sanitary facilities should be more, the cleanliness is not impressive, and you can clearly see the years on the facilities. You can ride your bicycle to Svendborg, but the headwind and the hills in the city are exhausting. The visit to the city is nice, but not overwhelming.
