Camping SPO

At Camping SPO, you can expect spacious pitches on flat grassland with young vegetation. The pitches range from 60 to 120 square metres and are often cosily divided by hedges. Many pitches offer a gravel base with a private patch of grass right in front of your door – ideal for motorhomes and caravans.

The campsite is wonderfully rural on the edge of town. The famous Ording main beach and the spa centre with its thermal baths are only about 1.5 kilometres away. You can reach the sea in just a few minutes by bike. If you want to leave your car behind, there is also a public transport stop just 200 metres away.

The campsite is close to a road but is protected by a green noise barrier. It can sometimes be a bit louder near the edges. In heavy rain, the grassy ground can get a bit muddy. A great side effect of being close to the beach: many campers drive their vehicles to the beach during the day, making the campsite wonderfully quiet during the daytime.

The pricing is pleasantly down-to-earth and fair. You should plan for the following cost factors:

• Electricity: Charged as a flat rate (recently €4 per day).
• Showers: Use of the clean sanitary facilities is completely included – with no extra charge and no time limit.
• Disposal: Grey water and chemical toilet disposal are also included in the price for guests.
• Dogs: Four-legged friends are allowed; small additional fees may apply. Since the campsite is currently not bookable online through us, it is best to enquire about the exact prices directly with the operator.

The atmosphere at the campsite is wonderfully relaxed and uncomplicated. The operators run the site with a lot of passion and are extremely helpful. Even a late arrival is not a problem by prior arrangement. Check-in is relaxed, so your holiday in the north can start completely stress-free.

Your culinary needs are well taken care of! In the morning, there is a practical bread roll service with fresh coffee at the stand. In the evening, a cosy food truck serves fish rolls, currywurst, and changing specialities like flame-grilled salmon or suckling pig. A small, cosy bar also invites you to spend sociable evenings.

Yes, dogs are very welcome at Camping SPO! The rural surroundings around Sankt Peter-Ording are perfect for long walks in the countryside. The nearby beach also offers great opportunities for you and your four-legged companion to enjoy the fresh North Sea air.

Absolutely, for younger campers there are two nice, manageable playgrounds to run around in. In addition, the campsite has its own bicycle rental service. This makes it very easy to grab some bikes and explore the beautiful Eiderstedt peninsula or the beach crossings of Sankt Peter-Ording on two wheels.
