Has potential! The sanitary facilities for men are not acceptable in this condition. Of the three available sinks, the drain of the first is defective, the second has a mirror that is hung too high. The third is okay. There are no individual stalls. The cleanliness was fine. The pitches are slightly sloped and very uneven. With a caravan, you need to level it with boards or stones. The electricity is, well, Schuko sockets, no CEE. Water, simple faucets on the grass without drainage. The surroundings are great. Cycling and hiking trails, beautifully laid out and marked. Conclusion: Those who accept all this and are willing to pay a lot will have a lot of joy in this beautiful landscape.

The parking space is level on solid grass. Sanitary facilities from the (previous) last century, but apparently cleaned daily. Prices on the internet were lower than the actual charges (probably poor data maintenance). The rolls were good and not too expensive. Wi-Fi in the restaurant area is good, but there's no reception at the parking space. Mobile networks (which the owner cannot do anything about) are poor. Not very quiet due to the adjacent federal road.

The location on the outskirts is good. Wernigerode is easily reachable by bike. From here, you can go mountain biking, hiking, or quickly reach destinations in the Harz region. It is directly on the B244, which does not disturb at night. There is absolute peace until morning. No parceling off. Nevertheless, there are good parking options on grassy ground. I find it disturbing that about 3 residential houses are practically located directly at the site. Absolutely negative are the sanitary facilities. The toilets do not close. Cleanliness is rather mediocre to poor. During our stay over Pentecost (30.05. - 02.06.20), there was a mop bucket with old brackish water at the door to the sanitary facilities, which apparently had never been changed. Chemical toilet disposal for campers takes place through the toilet lids in the men's shower or the women's toilet. Dishwashing, washing machine, changing table, etc. are in the women's area! Hot water for showering was a matter of luck (...the early bird?). Conclusion: I believe the operators do not see the potential of the site or are not lovingly engaged in their work. In my opinion, the site is not suitable for longer stays.

if you are just passing through you can stay for a night. Those who stay longer have to forgo!!! a well-kept environment, friendly hosts, partially hot water, well-maintained sanitary facilities, Wi-Fi on the site, and mobile phone connection from all providers. Conclusion: only 1 star and no more.

Negative: Dark ladies' toilets (1 light for 4 toilets). Tap in ladies' toilet defective for days. Some sinks in washing rooms defective and not cleaned for ages. Men's shower only lukewarm. "Kitchen" directly next to toilets. Noisy main road. Annoyed operators. Positive: Great location in the middle of the Harz, free choice of places, and quiet campsite (after peak hours)

Of the toilets, exactly one was not broken and it had not been cleaned for days (weeks?). Disgusting! The showers (One with a door, 3 open like in the military) functioned in such a way that the soap runs through the entire washroom until a drain comes. The sanitary facilities of this place should be gutted and rebuilt. Additionally, considering the employment of a cleaning lady would be advisable. Never again!!

Stress-free camping, as it is not over-regulated and not enclosed by complete fencing. Wonderful view of old trees. On one side, great hiking trails from the campsite. On the other side, unfortunately, a main road where bikers are also active. However, it is quiet at night. Reserved again this year. Sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. Shower items placed on available stools.
