We stumbled upon the campsite by chance and were very skeptical about the reviews at first, but! We were very satisfied. The kids had the pool to play in, and there was always something going on in the evenings. The plot was large enough. You could visit some great places by bike. The sanitary facilities were always clean and fully functional. We would come back.

In the ADAC evaluation, one actually wonders whether the inspection took place at a different campsite.... The described one can't have been it. Sanitary facilities dilapidated, and several areas basically cordoned off with ropes, (former) children's playground is now a ruin (which no one has removed). For today's standards, small parcels. Water connection at the parcel was rusted through. As a result, the water had to be turned off and there was no water connection at the parcel anymore. Unfortunately, there was no compensation for this.

The location right by the beach is decent, as well as the large pool with separate children's pool. The sanitary facilities have seen better days, especially the smaller sanitary buildings which haven't been renovated for 10-20 years. The lifeguards at the pool are more occupied with smoking and renting sunbeds than overseeing safety. This is particularly questionable during peak operation. Overall, the area appears very overcrowded and the pathways hardly leave any room for maneuvering; the staff is not particularly motivated and notices or important information are only in Italian, making communication with the staff impossible in English. Access to the premises is exciting and involves a lot of effort for larger caravan combinations.

First the positive: large pool complex, sanitary clean, and the pizza tastes pretty good too. At the beach, everything is full of sunbeds, a small free part only in the back area. Even at the pool, the sunbeds cost 2€. Places are hardly shaded. Towards the beach, it is manageable due to the wind. Unfortunately, no charm. We were just lucky to have nice neighbors around us. Not 4 stars. All in all, a bit aged.

By the time we traveled at the end of May, the pole should already have been open. For us, this was also a criterion for booking, because who knows how warm the Mediterranean is at the end of May. Also, the Wi-Fi did not cost 1.50 per day and mobile home, but was significantly more expensive. The units for Wi-Fi could only be used with one end device. The mobile home was well equipped and clean. The furnishings were bright and modern. The beds were too hard for us, but this is always a very subjective assessment. The mobile homes are partially located on a second plot separated by the access road. However, since the road is used by all the campsites there, there is also heavy traffic. The individual plots are secured by a barrier system, but this offers no protection for small children on exploratory trips. Children who cannot assess the dangers of "access traffic" should therefore be kept under watch. The path from the furthest mobile homes, all of which are located in front, to the beach can be reached in a leisurely 15-minute walk. The inclusivity of 2 sunbeds and an umbrella at the beach was great. Unfortunately, it was a shame that you have to keep the spots for the entire stay. So, one should get along well with the beach neighbors. The access to the sea is particularly suitable for families with children. There is a sandbank that does not provide deep water for a long time. We did not use the supermarket on the premises. The pizza in the pizzeria was good, but unfortunately not from the stone oven. The ice cream was also probably not homemade. Shops for daily needs can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. A bakery is a 10-minute walk away. The path along the access road should be cautiously negotiated due to the lack of a footpath or shoulder. Venice can be reached from Chioggia in 1.5 hours by boat. In general, it can be said: Great holiday for the price!
