For example, it is worth visiting the harbour town of Portofino or the Cinque Terre National Park, where five picturesque fishing villages with their colourful little houses nestle against the rocky coast. Families with children can look forward to a trip to Genoa, which boasts one of the largest aquariums in Europe.
