Camping Sjötorpet

Old campsite with sloping pitches, but has a nice little lake. There is no playground on the campsite, but a schoolyard very close. The sanitary building is very old and is not cleaned often, the showers are perfect and free, but there is mold on the walls. There are only 2 dishwashing sinks, so you often have to wait. Nowhere can you wash clothing by hand. After emailing twice, we finally managed to book via email after 2 weeks; upon arrival, they could not find the reservation anywhere. That was very disappointing, but fortunately there was plenty of space; we didn't feel like sardines in a tin, there are really large marked pitches with gravel ground and grass alongside. A cheap campsite that compensates for the old and dirty sanitary building. Supermarkets nearby.

We spent three days there with our little caravan on our return trip and would come back again. The site is small, but the terraced plots are relatively large and we had a beautiful view of the lake. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. From the site, you can reach a bathing spot via a lakeside path or stroll through a small park to the town center. Of course, you can also reach it directly in a few minutes. There are bakers, restaurants, supermarkets, and even a train station.

Small, clear, beautiful place directly by the lake. Clean and tidy. Affordable.

I only used this place while passing through, yet a little more friendliness would have been appropriate. Also weak and too expensive for Scandinavian conditions.
