Not far from the Glaskogen nature reserve in the Swedish region of Värmland, Camping Sandaholm is an idyllic spot by the water. The quiet campsite with restaurant and pitches for caravans and motorhomes is located on the shores of Lake Järnsjön. The water is an ideal spot for surfing or fishing for pike and brown trout. The campsite also has its own canoe hire for extended exploratory tours. Moose and beavers can be observed in the forests of Glaskogen.

Great campsite with a very good kitchen!
Great swimming lake, very friendly staff, very clean, but the sanitary facilities look a bit dated. The pitches are mostly quite level, only very few people had to use their leveling ramps.
