Pros

The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, but we also often spent time at the pool and taught our oldest son how to swim. In the evenings, we took the train several times across the campsite. It was a very nice holiday. We spent one day in Venice, which is only 40 km away. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Stellplatz Aquapark Zelt

The toilets are very inappropriate, and there are many animals in the soap dispenser; also, the distance to the beach and bus stops is quite far, which isn't great.

Pros

At the end of August, there were plenty of pitches available. There were many campers and tents present. In the spot where we stayed, the music from the pool was not heard. The kids played in the pool despite the bad sea weather. The women's toilets were clean and quite normal. There was hot water in the showers after inserting a 50 cent coin. Everything is regularly kept clean. The food, especially the ice cream, was very good. Pitch/Rental accommodation: There were quiet zones between 1-3 PM and it was very quiet from 11 PM to 8 AM. That was great. At night, it was secured, which gave me a sense of safety.

Perhaps more activities for 8-12 year olds.

👎 Very friendly staff. The pitches are of sufficient size and very well maintained. The entire site is very clean and tidy. The pizza from the restaurant is highly commendable. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitch was adequately sized and the direct water access was very practical. 👎 The sanitary facilities are quite outdated and urgently need to be renovated. The coin system for the showers should also be reconsidered. On the "new" side, there are only 2 ladies' toilets, which is far too few. In the showers, everything gets wet; you basically have to shower just in a towel. The children's playground also needs to be updated. The beach is quickly accessible, but there is only a very small area where you can set up umbrellas, making it almost impossible to find a spot during the holidays. Dogs are allowed on the campsite, but unfortunately not at the sea.

Pros

Early check-in before 1:00 PM is rare these days. Camping/Paid Accommodation: The pitch was as expected. Not a big pitch, but I didn't need one either.

Cons

The shower tokens and paid internet are outdated. I find it unfortunate that there was a tap constantly running that could not be turned off completely. Why doesn’t the cleaning lady report something like that? As a guest, it’s not my job. A beach service and a shuttle to the city would enhance the site. I consider a functioning bike light as a matter of course when renting. Unfortunately, this was defective on my rented bike.
