Camping Municipal Le Soleil

You are incredibly close here! The beautiful city centre of La Rochelle is just one kilometre away. You can easily stroll or cycle into the centre to explore the historic port town. There is also a public transport stop just one kilometre away.

You can expect a triangular meadow terrain with sparse trees, bordering a residential area. The campsite offers 84 pitches for holidaymakers, 63 of which are parcellated. The pitch size ranges between 70 and 90 m². Sockets with 6 Amps provide electricity. If you have a larger motorhome, it is worth taking a close look when manoeuvring.

The sanitary facilities are practically laid out: there are 12 showers, 22 toilets and 12 dishwashing sinks. A baby changing room and accessible sanitary cabins for wheelchair users are also available. However, the facilities are a bit older – it is best to pack your own soap and toilet paper to be completely flexible.

Since Camping Municipal Le Soleil is currently not directly bookable online via PiNCAMP, you cannot check availability directly. You should keep the following cost factors in mind for your holiday planning:

Since the campsite is located directly on a road and borders a residential area, arrival is super straightforward. For your pitch on the meadow terrain, we recommend packing sturdy pegs for grass ground. If you are arriving with a larger motorhome, you should prepare for slightly tighter spaces and perhaps manoeuvre a bit when parking.

There is no restaurant or supermarket directly on the campsite. But the absolute highlight in the morning: a local vendor sells fresh baguettes and croissants directly from a car – super delicious and cheap! For larger shopping trips or a cosy dinner, you can reach the nearby town centre of La Rochelle in just a few minutes.
