Just a stone's throw from Venice, the fantastic Marina di Venezia campsite is located on a dream beach on the Cavallino-Treporti peninsula. Its own water park, a play and training area for four-legged friends and numerous shopping and dining options make the campsite a wonderful place for family holidays and the ideal starting point for excursions to the lagoon city of Venice.
This family-friendly holiday resort is located in the west of the municipality of Cavallino-Treporti, between the picturesque Venice lagoon and the Italian Adriatic Sea. The well-kept pitches are spread across the extensive caravan park and offer fresh and waste water connections and an electricity column. The modern sanitary facilities have a baby changing room. Guests without caravans or motorhomes can stay in the more than 350 mobile homes or the cosy, 35 square metre Laguna Bungalows in a wonderfully green landscape.
Those who want more luxury are spoilt for choice: in addition to the luxury tents, the 100 square metre garden villas with their unique room concept and the 80 square metre Marina Lodges with their own whirlpool and spacious bedroom are very popular. Of particular interest to dog owners are the Rex Lodges, which are specially designed for holidaymakers with dogs. The rental accommodation is located in the immediate vicinity of the dog washing facilities and the dog playground. Due to the high demand, it is advisable to book the bungalows and mobile homes in advance.
A highlight of the Marine di Venezia campsite is the long sandy beach, which has a pleasantly shallow slope and is particularly suitable for families with children. Sunshades and bars, water sports hire and a restaurant can be found along the entire stretch of beach. There is also a dog beach at the south-east end of the campsite's long, fine sandy beach. Right in the heart of the holiday resort, the pedestrian zone with its shopping mile invites you to stroll around. Numerous delicacies await guests in the supermarket, fish shop, bakery and fresh produce market. And after shopping, a scoop from the ice cream parlour is of course a must on the way back to the camper.
Lively flair, cheerful children's laughter and music characterise the ambience of the beautiful holiday resort on the Adriatic. The huge "Aqua Marina Park" water park, an extensive swimming area at the heart of the camping park, is a popular destination. Sports pools, a children's pool and toddler pool, several water slides and adventure pools leave nothing to be desired for guests. Active holidaymakers can join in with the varied daytime entertainment, while younger guests can spend eventful hours in the Leo Miniclub and Junior Club.
Due to its proximity to Venice, a visit to the lagoon city is an absolute must. The best way to reach Venice is by boat from the harbour in Punta Sabbioni. The harbour is just 2 km from Camping Marina di Venezia. Depending on the boat connection, the crossing to the historic centre of San Marco takes around 30 minutes. There, sights such as the Doge's Palace, Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square await visitors - a gondola ride through the winding canals is particularly romantic. A drive along the Adriatic Sea is also worthwhile, where picturesque villages and beautiful sandy beaches await visitors.
