Camping le Camp des Gorges is located in the middle of the Archèche nature reserve on a pretty river in the small French municipality of Vallon-Pont-dʼArc in the south-east of the country. Less than a kilometre away is Pont d'Arc, the imposing natural stone bridge over the river. This and other natural sights can be discovered on interesting hikes. A beautiful spot in nature right by the Ardèche. We were able to relax well. It was quiet and there was a lot to discover in the area. Canoe tours could be booked directly at the reception. Good communication and organization from booking to stay. Clean sanitary facilities. Mostly shaded pitches, which is very pleasant in summer. Direct access to the riverbank from several points. We really liked the concept. We would be happy to return. Campsite/ Rental accommodation: A nice pitch with a view of the river and access to the shore. Spacious enough.

We had a spot right by the river with our camper for 3 nights and were very satisfied. Simply pure nature.
