At almost 300 metres, it is the highest in Switzerland.

A family-friendly hike to Grütschalp, around 10 kilometres away, offers unforgettable views of the mountains, including the famous Eiger. As the campsite rents out bicycles and the area is excellently developed for mountain biking, it is an excellent place to explore on two wheels. In summer, Lake Brienz, just 15 kilometres away, is also a popular nature excursion destination. Here, visitors can hire kayaks and surfboards or take an adventurous ride on a jet boat. In the colder months, the surrounding ski areas in the Lauterbrunnen Valley with over 150 kilometres of pistes and cross-country ski trails offer winter fun for young and old.
