This place is not a showcase for Villach
dirty permanent campers' trailers - no recognizable pitches - only cold water at a wash - no toilet paper although a paper holder is present - we are not used to such things in Austria. Please renovate!

No campsite that can be recommended further.
Dad Personal, Mom and son were friendly and accommodating. For me as a camper who has been camping for over 30 years, it is incomprehensible how a rating of 3.5 stars can be given for the sanitary facilities, or 3 stars for the entire site in the ADAC Camping Guide. We were there for the overnight s… More

Overnight Place
A somewhat old place. The facilities are a bit older but very clean. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff on site were very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend the place for a surprise, as it is also very close to the highway.

Okay as a stopover site while traveling
A somewhat aging nature campsite. The spots are not assigned and are not really clearly recognizable; you may choose where to set up. We found that a bit odd. The site is nicely located in a quiet area. You can reach the village inn in a few minutes on foot if the restaurant on the site is closed. … More

Good for a stopover!
Nice operators, quiet, but also a tight space. At 15€/night for a motorhome with 2 persons and ADAC camping card, definitely worth the price! Restaurant with a small menu as well as a bread roll service available.

Okay for an overnight stay
We had a stopover at the site. The welcome was friendly, but the sanitary facilities are disgusting!

Camping is dominated by quite ugly permanent camping caravans, hardly any nice tourist spots; Quiet, acceptable for one night

With a football and basketball pitch, a large playground, table tennis tables and a small outdoor pool, there is also something for every taste and age group in terms of leisure facilities. The campsite takes care of its guests' physical well-being in the form of a small shop with a morning bread roll service and snacks, as well as a restaurant serving local dishes.
