Camping Duinhoeve

The parking space and the sanitary facilities were okay. There is always room for improvement. What ruined our mood were the opening hours of the restaurant and the snack bar, which were advertised but were closed the whole time. Upon our arrival, the small shop still had two opening hours. After two days, it was only open in the mornings for 1.5 hours and had empty shelves. Even worse was the statement about the electricity price according to our rates. There is no way to monitor consumption. Upon departure, we had to find out that the reception is closed from 12-3 PM, but check-in is allowed from 2 PM.

The site is really very nice, not too large, the distance to the beach is 5 minutes on foot, and about 1 km to the town. There is a supermarket, a snack bar, and a restaurant on the site. And a swimming pool, which is very pleasant. Sanitary facilities are plentiful and always clean. Dogs are allowed, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. We would love to come back.

Good spot within walking distance to the city and the beach. The plots are large enough. Electricity must be paid for separately. Wi-Fi is free and stable. Sanitary facilities are plentiful and usually clean. There is a swimming pool. Dogs are allowed. What is annoying, however, is that some fellow citizens do not leash their dogs. Overall, the place is recommended.

We were received very nicely and felt absolutely wonderful. The area is beautifully laid out, pleasantly quiet, and the proximity to the beach is great. Unfortunately, the snack bar and the shop started their winter break the day before our arrival. Not a big deal, but perhaps it could be noted on the website when these facilities are closed. In any case, we liked it so much that we are coming back for two weeks this summer. We are already looking forward to it!

It went over the dunes into the sea, it was wonderful. You can ride a bike beautifully across the island. The place has an indoor pool - so swimming is possible in any weather. The area is not too large. The sites were nicely arranged and generously sized / larger than specified.
