👍 Close to the beach, with a gently sloping sandy beach. The camping area is well organized, with good facilities and truly excellent dining options. The toilets are like small bathrooms with a shower, hot water, sink, and toilet. Perfect. There are waste containers all along the paths for organic waste, paper, glass, plastic, and general rubbish. The power supply is very generously provided. A significant advantage is that NO ANIMALS, meaning no dogs, are allowed. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Spacious sites that can be inspected before use. Depending on the location, which is under shaded pines, one should expect sap drops. A possible protection, such as a cover for the tent, might be worth considering. The campsite is very family-friendly and excellently geared towards children. The location of Camping Cà Savio is ideal for visiting Venice and numerous islands.

Cons

The showers and toilets were combined, which meant you sometimes had to wait a long time because everyone was showering. Other than that, the hygiene was absolutely fine. Pitch/Accommodation: Lots of loose sand, but that was to be expected at a campsite close to the sea.

Pros

What we liked best was that there are many trees on the campsite which provide excellent shade. This is the case for almost all the pitches. Pitch/Rent accommodation: The many trees were very good and the pitches are very large.

Cons

The toilet facilities are a bit unusual, as the toilet, sink, and shower are all in one space. If all the showers are occupied, you may have to wait a long time for a toilet. It is also a pity that there is no small toilet and no shower available at the beach. The two swimming pools are great in themselves, but having a dedicated swimming pool would also be nice. You have to swim through the playing children. Pitch/Rent accommodation: The water situation at pitches C. If you want to dispose of cooking water, you may need to walk quite a distance.

👍 The camping spots are very spacious and offer plenty of shade. This is truly a major point given the warm weather. For children, there are two swimming pools located near the front of the campsite. The beach is also very close; just cross the "dunes" and you're on the beach. If you're coming with kids, there is entertainment provided. There’s also a pavilion at the beach where there is live music every Tuesday and Friday and where you can eat. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Spacious spots with a lot of shade. A car fits but leaves no extra space. 👎 The sanitation facilities are in dire need of renovation. They are outdated and look dirty, even though cleaning staff are around throughout the day. The shower and toilet are in the same small booth. In theory, this seems ideal, but in practice, it leaves much to be desired. When you shower, the toilet gets completely wet because it’s such a small space. However, there are enough booths available.

👍 The entrance (for cars with caravans, etc.) is spacious. The reception is also roomy and modern. The campsite has 2 beautiful swimming pools with plenty of entertainment for young and old. The campsite shop is a fully stocked small to medium supermarket. The beach is directly accessible from the campsite. The campsite is so large that from our camping spot in nearly the last street, it took about 12-15 minutes to walk to the beginning (reception/parking lot) of the campsite. A half hour round trip! The toilet block was also not close by, requiring a 5-7 minute walk. Therefore, we find this campsite too large. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitch was fine. Electricity was available everywhere. With a large and small tent, there was not enough space to park the car too, which was not a problem, except that fetching the car took half an hour. Very nice place close to the beach with everything you need. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitches are great and especially include electricity. All essential facilities are quickly accessible.

Cons

The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated, but they are clean and functional. A surcharge for Wi-Fi is no longer appropriate. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Water is not available everywhere. Due to many families with children, it can often be a bit noisy.
