The dog-friendly Arc en Ciel campsite in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc in the French province of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is located directly on the River Ardèche and surrounded by idyllic countryside. Parcelled-out pitches are spread across the campsite's unspoilt grounds, where trees and hedges provide plenty of privacy. Nearby there is a distillery (closed in July and August). During the low season, unfavorable wind conditions may cause odor issues at surrounding campsites. In the village of Salavas, outdoor music events take place in July and August, with an official end time set at 0:30 a.m.

Barely deserves three stars
👎 The camping location Site/Rental accommodation: Shaded 👎 No hot water in the mobile home, despite several requests to the concerned individuals, we were left without hot water throughout our stay. No compensation offered by the camping management!!!! Site/Rental accommodation: No hot water.
