Small manageable site directly by the lake, the surroundings are great. Nice owners - everyone speaks German here, you think you're at a German campsite (more than 80% Germans), that wasn't our thing. Sanitary facilities are catastrophic, very, very outdated and not clean at all. Unfortunately, we had to use them. Also, the kitchen/dishwashing area is not really nice. We only lasted one night. For us, the worst site in Sweden that we had. We did not enjoy our time here and would not recommend it to anyone.

Various pitches for tents with and without electricity, with and without shade. RV pitches are also available. Some pitches were not usable as the ground was too wet. We were informed of this upon arrival, so it was not a problem. Sanitary facilities a bit outdated, but clean. Hot water for showering and washing up is chargeable. Directly at the lake - thus ideal for anglers. Boat rental possible. Reception very nice and helpful. Overall quiet. I still missed more greenery and newer sanitary facilities, you drive 20 minutes to the nearest supermarket. A small kiosk with a few savory items (not just ice cream) would also be a dream. In August we paid about 320 SK per night for 2 persons, 1 tent: fair price-performance ratio.

Place: The place itself is cutely small and located in a very quiet corner. After a rainy night, unfortunately, we encountered a swamp the next day. Sanitary: Unfortunately extremely old and therefore bearable, but not very inviting. Warm water for rinsing dishes only available for a fee. There was no hot water. Surroundings: Although Bolmen Lake gets its name from this place, unfortunately there is absolutely nothing there. Therefore, we moved on after one night.
