The large campsite has a total area of almost 18 hectares, with 300 pitches available for holidaymakers, 80 of which are parcelled out. Holidaymakers can enjoy plenty of privacy on pitches between 60-100 m² in size. The facilities at the dog-friendly campsite, which is open all year round, include electricity and water connections, Wi-Fi throughout the site and several sanitary blocks. The extensive leisure facilities, including two children's playgrounds, a mini golf course and a volleyball court, ensure an entertaining stay for young and old alike. The directly accessible bathing lake with a giant slide, a pebble beach and a large sunbathing lawn is particularly worth mentioning. The picturesque lakeshore is a popular meeting place at the campsite, especially on warm days. Boats can even be hired for short trips and fishing is permitted. The restaurant Seeterrasse Meinhardsee offers culinary delights with classic and contemporary dishes. There is also a small supermarket on site with snacks and morning bread rolls. Thanks to its proximity to nature, the region is ideal for relaxed hiking and cycling tours. A trip to the centre of the district town of Eschwege, just 4 km away, is just as popular. With its many half-timbered houses, good shopping facilities and cultural institutions such as the town museum, it is worth a visit whatever the weather.
