Yes, absolutely! The site is located directly on the water and offers two fine sandy beach areas separated by a flat rock formation. There is even a bathing jetty with a diving board and – especially cool for dog owners – a separate beach section for guests with dogs.

The sanitary facilities are rather simple and in high season there can be waiting times with 10 showers and 12 toilets. Since the reception is often unattended, booking and payment are easily done online. It is best to book your pitch in advance.

You certainly won't get bored here! A real highlight is the high ropes course directly on the grounds. There is also a boat and bicycle rental, a boat dock, minigolf, beach volleyball and a great playground for the little ones.

In the morning you can look forward to the practical bread roll service. For a quick bite, there is a snack bar directly on the site as well as a covered cooking facility. Larger supermarkets and grocery stores can be found in the charming town of Vaxholm, which is only about 2 kilometres away.

Getting to Vaxholm is straightforward. A brilliant excursion tip: a ferry runs directly to Stockholm from the Vaxholm Hotel – so you can be in the middle of the Swedish capital in just one hour and leave your car relaxed on the campsite.
