WAXHOLMS CAMPING is situated in an outstanding location in the Stockholm archipelago directly on the Baltic Sea coast. The quiet campsite is surrounded by shady woodland and offers direct access to the sandy beach bay. The centre of Vaxholm is only 2 km away. The pitches and accommodation, like typical Swedish stugors, are spread over a clearing with meadows. There is a mini-golf course, canoe hire and fishing.

Long, sloping, and sometimes undulating grassy terrain. Some areas with tall deciduous and coniferous trees.
Access to water
About 45m or 65m long, up to 50m wide sandy beach areas, separated by a shallow rock formation and bordered by a reed zone. Swimming pier and bathing platform with a small diving board. Separate beach section for guests with dogs.

Beautifully located site, sanitary facilities poor
Scenic location, family with children, climbing garden, sanitary facilities in poor condition and too limited for the size of the site,

Beautiful place but nothing more.
The location of the campsite is okay, but the rest is inadequate. Internet is available all the way at the back, unfortunately not anymore. Toilets and showers are inadequate, 2 men's toilets for the entire site. The same for the ladies. No service, office not staffed. Booking only via the Internet.… More

Bad service!
When trying to book a place, we were directed to the website. Booking and paying on site is not possible, as there is no reception. On that day, I could not make online payments, and credit card payment on site was unfortunately not possible. No one was able or willing to help us, so we made this 13… More

We stood in the back meadow in the forest, away from the open hustle and bustle of the front parking area, it was quite alright. In the front open area, there is no shade from trees or vegetation. An aging square that is actually only visited because there is a very convenient ferry connection to the city center of Stockholm.
