A place in the middle of the forest and right by the lake. Ideal for relaxing and cooling off in nice weather. Bike paths are very well marked (numbered), providing good access to Cottbus and the Spreewald. On-site snack stand and kiosk as well as SUP rental and friendly reception.

The campsite is situated by a very beautiful lake with a swimming beach. Water quality is top-notch. Mainly used by permanent campers, only partially suitable for tenting travelers. The ground of the tent area consists of solid sand under trees that becomes muddy when it rains. There are covered benches available, toilets are a bit farther away in newer sanitary buildings with cleanliness that could be improved. Very friendly staff and a well-stocked kiosk on site. Supplies sometimes also include street food trucks. Since there is no staff on site at night, loud nighttime parties remain without consequences. Although the operators do not want this, they take no preventive measures. The price structure is average.
