A beautiful CP directly by the lake, with several beaches. Camping spots partially with gravel and/or grass. All with electricity. CP is well maintained. Restaurant and shop available. However, there are only 2 sanitary buildings on CP, which is too few for the size. Access with card. Showers cost extra (10 Kr for 3 min) as does the swimming pool. Often waiting at the toilet/shower is indicated. According to its own advertising, a 4-star site. I can only partially agree. CP is about 4 KM from Mellerud, there is nothing in the village itself. Without a vehicle, you have to stay on CP. After a night of rain, there was water under the camping spot, although gravel, about 5 cm underwater. A Swedish guest had informed us that in case of rain, spots are under water so we were prepared. We then left early. At the reception, the problems with rain seem to be well known.

Visited the campsite in September 2015. Pros: Great location. Despite many pitches, it felt spacious. Not too crowded after the season. Very friendly service staff. Service facilities very clean and up to modern standards. Did not try any additional services. Great beach swimming area. Electricity included in the rental price. English language. Cons: 3 minutes of showering for 5 crowns. The shower rooms themselves were not sufficiently heated. Filling the water tank in the camper van costs 5 crowns. However, it was possible to connect your own hose at the water collection points on the campsite – but only where it could be connected with screw connections (garden hose connections). WIFI, unfortunately, only available through a regional provider and therefore costly.

The location is great in the southwest corner of Lake Vänern right on the beach. Unfortunately, we felt like we were in a battery cage with our parking space. However, the beach and the lake compensated for it - wonderful view. Sanitary facilities clean and modern. Unfortunately, shops, etc. are still out of service in the pre-season.
