The campsite is beautifully and quietly located right by the sea with a wide sandy beach. A nudist beach can be reached by a walk along the shore. Before the start of the French summer holidays, there was discreet animation, which was ramped up with the start. The sanitary facilities are quite dated, as are some other communal facilities. Showers and the like are kept constantly (!) clean.

Beautiful beach. Good food and reasonable prices. Nice service staff. Large pitches. Waste separation in the access area of the campsite. Chemical toilet disposal not available at all sanitary buildings. Swallows not nesting in the sanitary buildings, therefore dirty. Cleaned multiple times a day.

The CP advertises on its homepage with "free nautical base", free beach club. This consists of an extremely unfriendly owner with 14 canoes and 10 SUPs, which he lets the vacationers look at, while he limits the actual use to 30 minutes per day - not much, especially when booking here with water sport enthusiastic teens because of the quoted advertisement. No willingness to negotiate from the management side. Big minus!!!!

I've been there for the 4th time. The 5th stay for next year is already booked. Nice staff who want you to feel good. Helpful. Directly located on the beach. But there is also a pool that invites you to cool off. Shopping opportunities are quickly reached. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available fresh from the harvest on the street. In the campsite's own shop, you can buy freshly baked baguettes or croissants in the morning. Or if you quickly need something, you can find a small selection there. Mobile homes have been modernized. But there are also plenty of spots for tent campers or motorhomes. Clean sanitary facilities that are cleaned several times a day. A nice playground and soccer field as well as a small rally track for bikers are available. In the main season, there are also entertainers. At night, security ensures safety.

We felt absolutely great! Very nice, relaxed audience! The sanitary facilities are perfectly fine, many spots have trees, making it pleasantly shady! The swimming pool was sometimes too crowded for us, but the easy walk across the dunes to the sea is unbeatable in Setignan Plage! The beach and the sea are clean! We will be back!!!!
