Vakantiepark Lemmer

A really nice place. The surrounding area with the beach and the cozy town center is lovely for strolling around. If you have a dog, everything is relaxed. Shopping is very close. The only real downside is the very close main road. Therefore, our spot wasn't so nice. The traffic noise was very loud. Spot 110, so pay close attention to where you reserve. Check on Google Maps.

After Easter, we stayed for 5 nights on a comfort pitch. We had envisioned something different. The washroom facilities are outdated, and the new washhouse is very small. In the dark, the entrance is unlit. There is a lot of construction work going on at the site, accompanied by noise and dirt. The noise from the N359 is very annoying.

This lovely little spot is very clean and well-kept. The sanitary facilities are new and clean. The site is almost right by the water. Here you can swim beautifully and go for a walk. However, the site is quite close to the city center and therefore not very quiet. So it's not a nature campsite! For our purposes (traveling towards France), it was perfect!

It is a large area with different surfaces, grass area and solid ground. Unfortunately, on the solid ground, one must say that there are a lot of glass shards and other items lying around, probably remnants from the demolition of the houses/chalets that used to stand there. And what personally bothered me a lot were the excessively many spiders that were in the bathhouse. The cleaning lady probably wasn't bothered by it or simply didn't care. What I found very good about the place was the proximity to the town and the beach.
