Our disappointing stay at Capfun Camping de Eickenhof

We stayed at Capfun Camping de Eickenhof this summer - unfortunately, it was anything but relaxing. The children's animation is more suited for toddlers up to a maximum of 6 years, older children (from about 10 years) quickly get bored because there are no suitable offerings. The pitches are not clearly marked, so other campers constantly walk right past our caravan - there is no privacy. At 1 PM, the lawn is also mowed, so there is no chance for peace. The private sanitary facilities are at best moderately clean. In the evening, it only gets quiet after midnight, consideration for others does not seem to be important at this site. We found the handling of the lake particularly questionable: it is supposed to be for fishing and swimming – instead, the foam party cannon is aimed not at the pool, but right in the middle of the lake.
