We used this beautiful site as a starting point to visit Venlo by bike. The site is superb, very well maintained, and the sanitary facilities are top-notch. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: Clean pitches, good infrastructure. We were very satisfied.

We spent a few lovely vacation days with our grandchildren. The activities for children were especially well-received. Pitch/rental accommodation: The hassle-free check-in was great.

Pros

The private sanitary facilities were very clean and spacious enough! The electricity connection was great (10 A). The pitch was large enough and the landscape was very beautiful and well-maintained. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Large pitch with private sanitary. Everything was great.

Cons

In the autumn, acorns fall from the trees... with so many trees on the campsite and the overall beautiful greenery, the falling acorns made a lot of noise on the caravan... even at night! During 'our long weekend' (the Day of German Unity), there were many party campers around. However, most of them kept to the 11 p.m. quiet hour.

We were only there for one day but had a great time. Nice campsite, good sanitation, and very clean. Check-in and check-out were well organized and the staff was friendly. You have done a great job. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Was fine, but it was difficult to set up a second tent.

We missed waste containers within walking distance near our spot (296). Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Very close to the neighbors.

Great place with a lot to offer and great friendly staff. The pool is perfectly sufficient for bad weather days. Activities are offered to the children every day. The pitches are easy to access and nicely large.

👍 The service and the animation program were great. The playgrounds, distributed throughout the site, were also good. The smell of manure was sometimes unbearable, but the site is not to blame. Unfortunately, the washing machines were only partially usable, as one was broken and then removed, and the other was almost in use all the time. The restrooms could have been a bit cleaner, even though they were cleaned at least three times a day. A changing table in the restroom area would have been helpful. But all in all, we were very satisfied.
