There is no chance for a second first impression.

I can't understand the ratings of some. The site is somewhat morbid but clean, the sanitary facilities are clean and there is also enough paper available. Good campsite as a starting point to visit Ghent. Definitely not a place to stay longer.
The place is beautifully laid out. The beach pool is accessible by foot. However, it is very crowded on nice days. The sanitary facilities are aging and are not really kept clean. Moreover, at least in sanitary building 3, there is only 1 shower per gender plus a shower for people with disabilities.… More

Ghent is worth a visit!
The campsite has large, green plots with quite a bit of privacy. Our sanitary facilities were visibly old but were cleaned regularly. Toilet paper was sometimes in short supply.
