The website of the campsite sounds good and gives hope for a modern campsite in advance. How disappointing the reality is when you are on the site. We have been camping for a long time, but this site was the absolute low point. A neglected urban campsite that needs care in every corner. The washroom

05.08.2023. We are using the place for passing through. Access well signposted. Reception speaking Belgian, German, French, and English, knowledgeable and friendly. There are reservable paved pitches and assigned others. We have landed on a normally designated grass-covered campsite with number 204.

I can't understand the ratings of some. The site is somewhat morbid but clean, the sanitary facilities are clean and there is also enough paper available. Only the power boxes could be better marked and cleared. The price is reasonable. Shuttle bus for free, about 700m from the site, public transpor

Good campsite as a starting point to visit Ghent. Definitely not a place to stay longer.

The place is beautifully laid out. The beach pool is accessible by foot. However, it is very crowded on nice days. The sanitary facilities are aging and are not really kept clean. Moreover, at least in sanitary building 3, there is only 1 shower per gender plus a shower for people with disabilities.

We booked one night for €35 with friendly staff. The pitches are large, our power cable was much too short; at the reception, you could get an extension for free. The campsite is overgrown with many trees and bushes. The shuttle bus to the city center was really good. It could be that when the place

The campsite has large, green plots with quite a bit of privacy. Our sanitary facilities were visibly old but were cleaned regularly. Toilet paper was sometimes in short supply. Another sanitary facility had already been renovated. This one was perfectly fine. Definitely too few showers in the peak

Stayed there one night, unfortunately the spots were very muddy due to rain, but the spontaneously coming staff member was very eager to help. Sanitary facilities were only partially open, very outdated and not really clean.. in the showers the water did not drain and the whole room was about 1cm un
