About
Temporarily closed.
Bühlhof campsite is located just a few minutes' walk from the famous health resort of Titisee, nestled between forest trails and the sparkling mountain lake in the heart of the High Black Forest. The proximity to the water and the tranquility of nature create an atmosphere that lets you breathe deeply straight away. Children discover little adventures in the outdoors, while adults enjoy freedom and ease. A place you love to return to. Bühlhof is currently undergoing extensive modernization so that we can offer our guests even more comfort and holiday quality in the future. Reopening is planned for 2027. Among the new highlights is the planned wooden nature playground, which naturally awakens the spirit of discovery in our younger guests.
Located on a slope above Lake Titisee, this site is ideal as a starting point for nature lovers who want to explore the High Black Forest from here.

Beautiful campsite - outdated sanitary facilities

The campsite has been closed since early June. Currently, there is no site operator on site; the site may possibly be sold. If the site reopens, visitors should know the following: - The sanitary facilities are completely outdated and urgently need renovation. Even a lot of cleaning doesn't help much anymore, as the infrastructure, showers, etc. simply aren't very inviting. - View of the Titisee? None, it's practically not available at any spot - the pitches are somewhat ok, could be larger - only the many trees and nature are worth mentioning positively - the site has potential - let's see what the future brings.

The campsite has been intolerable since the new owners took over. A site manager was hired who did not fulfill his duties and was extremely unfriendly, letting sanitary buildings deteriorate... After too long, he was dismissed. Thus, the campsite has been closed since the beginning of 2025 until further notice.

Much too expensive

50.- Euros for two people plus a dog, including a 5.- Euro daily fee for electricity - that is outrageous. For that, you get completely outdated sanitary facilities, which are half closed even at peak times. No restaurant, no kiosk. Clear signs of neglect (we've known this place for 20 years). No comparison to the previous owners, whether old or young. And then there's that rudeness at the reception. Very unfortunate, this deterioration. We always liked coming.... One star for the beautiful location.

We were there for the weekend just to relax, super nice people, the roll service works without any problems. Self check-in and check-out via the terminal, the reception has opening hours but you can reach someone by phone outside of those hours, they come quickly and help out.

Why is it still listed in the ADAC Camping Guide?

According to the receptionist, no longer a member of ADAC, therefore no discount. Price for one night with electricity €40.20 (van, 2 people). This seems simply too expensive to me, because - The sanitary facilities are clean, but older in years - Drive-on wedges are absolutely necessary - No lake view - Internet only works in the reception area - Extra charge for hot water shower.

The staff is very friendly. The campsite is pleasantly quiet and slightly elevated above Lake Titisee. It does not have any special amenities. The showers/toilets are older but very clean. The check-in and processing is uncomplicated and you don't feel as cramped as on the lakeside pitches. Highly recommended for campers who prefer it simple and straightforward.

Very nice terrace site

We were welcomed very warmly. The site is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. There is a power connection available, with fresh water nearby. Yes, the sanitary facilities are older, but very well-kept. (Many other places with newer sanitary facilities can definitely take a leaf out of here.) The driveway is steep, but you are rewarded with a fantastic view from the parking space. You can walk directly to Lake Titisee and enjoy the tourist mile there. Or you can take wonderful hikes, for example to the village of Hinterzarten. We really liked it, and if we are in the vicinity, we would be happy to come back.
