Family Unwelcome — Criticism as well

We were on-site over Ascension with family and a awning. After setting up, we were informed that a rescue lane had to remain clear — previously we were explicitly told that we could "spread out". When we asked for a solution, the operator only responded with rudeness, no compromise and no apology. Even the next day, no one checked to see if everything was okay. Additionally, neighbors complained after our children had played for about an hour. The sanitary facilities are clearly underdimensioned for the occupancy — at times, there was no hot water available. In short, the entire family felt unwelcome the whole weekend. It is also striking that critical reviews regularly disappear here, referring to alleged defamation — this significantly relativizes the overall picture of the stars here. For family.

Good campsite for families, dog lovers, sports enthusiasts

Charming nature campsite with great events, delicious food at Deck 39, and very clean sanitary facilities. Ideal for families and hiking enthusiasts. Some paths are quite steep, and Wi-Fi is hardly usable. Unfortunately, our spot was smaller than booked. Still, 5 stars for atmosphere and friendliness.

Project camping with experience

Very ambitious, for us it was nothing. Positive: really delicious organic rolls, own wine, and a nice variety of daily essentials, from milk to stew jars. Negative: First, the campsite has very steep terraces and steep steps to quickly get to the rolls from above. They offer a tractor service to get the caravan up and assign a spot. First of all, it's almost impossible to see how the spot is. Cars are not allowed to park at the site since many spots are very small, and otherwise there would be no passage. There are supposedly larger spots, but what we saw in the upper area was minuscule. On this side, they advertise tranquility, which we (city dwellers in need of calm) see a bit differently. A constant noise from the highway is clearly audible, the train runs in the valley, and you can also hear enough from the airport. I wouldn't advertise with calm.

The campsite is beautiful and very good for unwinding! The plots are terraced and the outdoor shower is a fantastic experience! For children, the farm and all the hidden swings are a highlight! The site does not need a playground; it is an experience enough by itself! The beer garden is beautifully designed! We will come back!

Nature camping pure - but not for heavy large motorhomes

Good: The site was originally a camping site and there’s endless space for tents here. Bullis and smaller caravans also fit well (caravans are taken to the lower terrace sites with a tracker); options for motorhomes are limited - so it is essential to reserve! The operators are super nice and it gets busy here on the weekends. Delicious rolls. Food truck only Thu-Sun Caution: In the high season, the sanitary facilities are not sufficient - so showering at off-peak times is a must. If it has rained heavily, many pitches may are lost - so definitely reserve or call! Cars cannot stand at the pitch; all-wheel drive is an advantage. The terrain is steep and the path to the sanitary buildings is sometimes long.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful place! And super nice campsite owners. They always have a helping hand ready! Great food, magnificent wine, super atmosphere. I was here for several weeks with my assistance dog and recommend everyone to spend a holiday here. Beautiful hiking and biking paths. Small towns and attractions nearby. On the weekends, there is sometimes live music, Ford festivals, art... All in a quiet, cozy, and family-friendly atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and new. Here and there, some work is still being done. You can see that a lot of heart and soul is invested here. The bread roll service is fantastic! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!!

Rustic place, nice operators, cleanliness: Meh

The place itself is really great. - large plots - great view through terraces - water and electricity everywhere - wine bar and BBQ - … Of course, much of it is not completely new yet, but that will come with time. We also liked the flexibility of the operators because we didn’t have a reservation. What unfortunately disturbed us a lot was the cleanliness of the sanitary building. A lot of importance is placed on small things like scented sticks, etc. That is basically great if the state of cleaning is not overlooked. It felt like it was not cleaned even once a day. That's really too little. Especially since there are still very few toilets and showers at the moment. If improvements are made here, then this place is a real recommendation.

Great Experience!

We were very impressed by the place, the owner couple, the entire crew, and also by the nice, refined - international - guests! The owners have already accomplished a lot in the three years so far! On the upper level, there is a top-notch sanitary house, along with a beautiful beer garden with a breathtaking view, especially at sunset! Even in the evening at 10 PM, the owner still starts a campfire. Totally relaxing, romantic, and natural. We will come back!!!
