A very nice location. Well laid out and clean. The reception was very friendly. The sanitary facilities were clean and adequate. There were great viewpoints on the site with benches, etc. The only downside for us was that the site was very tightly packed. At times, campers with longer stays couldn’t set up their awnings or there was little space to maneuver. However, everything worked out fine. You can rent a vehicle for shopping.

Beautiful location right by the Titisee with private access to the lake. Sanitary facilities were very clean, and the number was sufficient. The only thing that bothered us a bit was that the grass on the site wasn't mowed, so we couldn't fully utilize the area. Otherwise, everything was very good, and the reception was also very friendly.

Opening hours of the gastronomy completely off

Apparently, the gastronomy at the square is no longer necessary: the kiosk is only open from 08:00 - 10:00 and the café takes a break from 14:30 - 16:00 (!) - probably closed due to wealth! Hopefully, the operators will remember even in tough times that their income is financed by the customers.

Overcrowded campsite without shade and without Wi-Fi

There are caravans on the site like chickens in a battery farm. There is a sanitation facility and a washing area for about 200 campers. Clean but extremely crowded during peak times. There is no shade. A torture in midsummer. The federal road runs right behind the site and makes truck noise on weekdays from 5:00 a.m. You have to like it ...

Super camping site, gastronomy not recommended anymore.

We come several times a year from Freiburg to the camping site. The place is as always clean and well-kept, unfortunately the gastronomy is this year under new management. This is noticeable in the quality of the food. Everything from a can and prepared without love. Unfortunately, no longer recommended. A large bottle of mineral water at the kiosk 6 €

Great location, fantastic view and top hygiene facilities

Free choice of seating, no reservations possible. Thanks to the terraces, almost every seat has a beautiful view of Lake Titisee. There are many excursion destinations in the area, and the friendly gentleman at the reception is happy to help with planning. The sanitary facilities are new and very, very clean. There was no Wi-Fi, but mobile reception is good. If you have a caravan, you should walk the path to your chosen spot on foot beforehand - it can be a bit narrow and steep in some places. In summary, an idyllic and quiet spot. Highly recommended!

Nature camping with a private beach
The unspoilt holiday resort is situated in a quiet location in the middle of a wooded area on the southern bay of Lake Titisee. The approximately 3-hectare campsite is laid out in terraces and extends to the shore, where guests can enjoy the sun on sunbathing lawns and sand and pebble beaches. As the terrain rises slightly, the 200 pitches offer picturesque views of the turquoise-blue lake and the surrounding mountains. The pitches, which measure between around 40 and 90 square metres, have their own electricity connection and some have satellite reception. Energy-saving underfloor heating in the two sanitary buildings made of well-kept natural stone ensure a sense of well-being. The shower water is heated by an environmentally friendly solar thermal system. Young and old bathing fans love to hire pedal boats or stand-up paddle boards at Sandbank Titisee and enjoy plunging into the cool water from the slide platform. The youngest camping holidaymakers can enjoy the outdoor playground or have fun in the children's room if the weather doesn't play ball. In the Upper Black Forest holiday region, exciting family activities such as forest walks with the foresters, adventure days on the farm and riding holidays on the horse farm are offered every day. If you want to experience an adventure or two during your camping holiday, climb the courses in the nearby Action Forest climbing forest or visit cats of prey, wolves and bison in the Tatzmania Löffingen forest park.
