Terrassencamping Maltatal is located on the eastern edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia. The 3.9-hectare meadow site, laid out on two terraces, is located between two picturesque streams. The 249 pitches, between 80 and 150 square metres in size, offer free Wi-Fi, electricity, fresh water and waste water connections. Guests can enjoy a family atmosphere and the flair of a camping holiday without their own tent in the fully equipped mobile homes. The cosy Pizzeria Pfiff is a popular meeting place for guests and locals alike. In addition to homemade pizzas from the wood-fired oven, it serves regional home cooking and international dishes. If you want to relax to your heart's content during your stay in the Malta Valley, you can do so in the sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. Active guests, on the other hand, can let off steam on the football pitch or explore the Hohe Tauern by bike or on a hike. During the high season, there is an attractive entertainment programme ranging from taster climbing sessions and guided Nordic walking tours to romantic torch-lit hikes. Active through the Malta Valley

The mountaineering village of Malta is an ideal starting point for extensive tours. In summer, the village offers guided hikes, for example to the Gößfälle water trail. From a viewing platform, the view of the 50 metre-high water cascades is breathtaking. Another popular route starts in Malta and runs along a traffic-free gravel path to Arlboden and from here on to a romantic reservoir. From here, the route continues to the Osnabrücker Hütte, where active hikers can recharge their batteries with typical local delicacies. A tip for families is the adventure park located 5 kilometres from Terrassencamping Maltatal, right next to the Fallbach waterfall. There is a water playground by the stream, as well as a tree house slide and swings. The Fallbach waterfall is also known for its challenging via ferrata, which offers fantastic views.
