Located in Austria's beautiful province of Carinthia, Terrassencamping Ossiacher See welcomes its guests in a natural park. As the name suggests, the campsite is located directly on the deep blue Ossiacher See and has a large number of marvellous terraced pitches with lake views. Lovingly landscaped with hedges, shrubs, streams and terraces, the site has a particularly natural atmosphere. From here, holidaymakers can enjoy a wonderful view of the deep green landscape and the glistening waters. Nestled between the Ossiacher Tauern and the lake, the site offers a view of the Gerlitze and Dobratsch. 265 parcelled pitches and 50 mobile homes in various categories are available to guests. There are also 3 marvellous premium mobile homes right by the water. These are characterised by pure luxury on 34m² for up to six people. These mobile homes are equipped with three bedrooms, a bathroom and an extra toilet. There is also a modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, ceramic hob, granite sink, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and much more. An air conditioning system keeps you cool on hot days, although heating is of course also provided. You can relax on the shady, covered terrace, which is equipped with a dining set, barbecue and sun loungers.

Excursions and activities.

Both young and old guests can look forward to numerous activities in the surrounding area. A mini golf course is within walking distance and in Ossiach you will find the summer toboggan run and the Ossiach climbing and family forest. A cycle tour around Lake Ossiach can be started right at the entrance to the campsite. The most attractive new feature for all active holidaymakers is the MTB trail area, which will open in 2022 and can be accessed directly above the campsite. Whether for beginners or experienced riders, the area has easy, medium and difficult trails, so there is a tour for every ability. The Mini and Mickey children's trails are also located directly above the campsite. Hiking on the Ossiacher Tauern, the Gerlitze or in the Nockberge mountains is one of the highlights for mountain lovers. The Mölltal Glacier, the Grossglockner or the Nockalm Road are also always worth a trip. The Landskron castle ruins, which offer a spectacular view over Villach, are only about 8 kilometres away. From here, young and old can watch the birds of prey in their show or take an entertaining tour of the monkey mountain with the Japanese macaques. The campsite has numerous facilities for children. The sports facilities range from tennis courts, surfing and sailing courses, water skiing, tyre and banana rides to beach volleyball, table tennis and football. To the west lies the pretty town of Villach, which attracts visitors with its cultural events and historical sights. The Carinthian Summer in Ossiach and the CMA in Ossiach Abbey make the hearts of music lovers beat faster.
