Pure Rip-off..

More of a parking than a campsite, very cramped and very small plots. And on this meadow, one searches in vain for a tree or bush, it feels truly unloved. Aside from a washhouse, there is nothing... and that is the only good thing. And to demand €47 for one night borders on cheekiness....and that in the low season. There are many better places at Lake Millstätter. But at the moment it is quite trendy to rip off campers. Hopefully, there will be times again when the operators will be glad that someone comes at all.

Rip-off! Caution with Transit / Rest Areas

June 2023

We were on our way on 07/16/23 and had a stay of 4 hours (2-6 PM) (previously indicated!) We are traveling with a caravan and 2 children. A price of €50.50 was demanded!!! Yes, it is a great location, with super sanitary facilities and lake access. But for the fact that the spot was likely to be assigned again in the evening, that is just too expensive! Oh yes, only cash payment 😉

No more than an expensive parking spot with good sanitation

The sanitation is small, with three showers and toilets each, but sufficient and well-maintained. Shower tokens are no longer required. Apart from the parking space on a meadow with an electricity connection, nothing else is offered. A key is required for fresh water at the supply and disposal station right in front of the site. This can be obtained for an additional €2 at the reception. Up to that point, we had already paid €47.50 for one night. Good restaurants directly opposite, but there is no bakery nearby.

Perfect place for passersby. Arrival possible until 9:30 PM! In the end, upon arrival (8:30 PM), we were allowed to drive onto the site and check in the following day. Campsite team very friendly and helpful.

Never again!

Not even the newest washroom can make up for the unfriendly nature of the owner! Due to its proximity to the highway, we only used the place as an overnight stop for 1 night. For that, we paid nearly 40.00 (with our 5-year-old child). When we inquired about how the price is made up, the owner became very displeased and insulted us. There is not the slightest consideration for the camper, and whether they are satisfied or not is simply of no concern. The main thing is that they pay! Besides a patch of grass and a washroom, there is nothing offered. The rolls have to be fetched in the village. There are no shopping opportunities at the site or nearby. There is no children's playground or the like available. Just the small beach section by the lake. The owner bid farewell with the words, 'You were dissatisfied, so please do not honor us with your presence again.' And one thing the owner can be sure of, we will gladly comply with her request!
