Overall, it's a very quiet place with a well-stocked mini-market and friendly staff. The site features slightly sandy grass with adequately large pitches and easy access to electricity. There is little to no shade. The toilets and showers from the 1980s could use an update, but they are well-maintained and sufficient. There are play opportunities indoors and outdoors, a TV room, and also a small playground with a play area. My negative point was that there is a very large number of permanent campers on the site, who are not always there. I found myself completely alone in a row surrounded by empty, uninhabited permanent campers. This doesn’t create a pleasant camping atmosphere. There is no pool. If you want to go to the beach, you have to bike or drive to the beach during the day.

The campsite is clean, spacious, and very well managed. Online registration is possible. Entry and exit through the portal directly at the barrier can also be done independently of the reception hours. Entry and exit hours are from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated (estimated from the 70s/80s) but well maintained. Hot showers using a card work without any issues. The pitches are clean, large, mostly grassy, but occasionally a bit gravelly. There is little to no shade. The biggest downside: it’s a bit too quiet for the normal camping atmosphere. There are numerous permanent pitches that are not always/rarely occupied. As a result, one can feel a bit lonely. I spent 4 days completely alone in my row, surrounded by barricaded caravans. It felt a bit strange. Otherwise, everything is provided, a good supermarket nearby! No restaurant, you need a bike or similar to move around/go to the beach. Or during the day to get to the car-accessible beach.

We have known Vejers Strand for about 30 years. We also knew the Christiansen family from personal contacts. Our spot was at the end of the site and had enough space for our Laika and us (approximately 120 sqm). Electricity at the site and a large lawn area provided us with relaxing days. The spacious sanitary facilities are very clean. For those who do not want hustle and bustle and want to spend peaceful days, this is the right place.
