Spreewald-Natur-Camping 'Am See'

Very few sanitary facilities hindered the stay. Anyone who needs to urgently go early or wants to clean their dishes should expect long wait times. Otherwise, a very good place with high occupancy.

Good: Showers & electricity included in the price. Toilets are very modern and clean. There is also a facility for rinsing. The bistro has everything you might need when something runs out. For children, there are many play opportunities. Very dog-friendly, with many dogs around. The spots by the lake are wonderful. Staff is very accommodating and nice. Bad: The spots by the lake are not meadows, but dusty/dirty ground. Quiet times are not really observed... cars start driving across the site before 7 am and, for example, during the quiet hours between 1-3 pm, construction/grass mowing occurs or there are arrivals.

The place is good all around. Shady spots, clean and well-utilized sanitary facilities, friendly and helpful staff. The shopping options at the site are quite sufficient. There is bicycle and electric car rental, bicycle repair station, book exchange… all well maintained.

Great location by the Spreewald right by the bike path. Camping barrel with lake view! Very clean sanitary facilities. Cooking possibilities available.

Great place by the lake, very friendly staff

Located directly by a lake. We were placed under pines, and occasionally pine cones would fall on our roof. The site was also very sloped; leveling it was really difficult, and since we were under trees, it was not possible to receive TV signal with a satellite dish. There was also no antenna connection available, even though we rented a comfort site. The waste collection point was always full and overflowing. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly, but that did not prevent them from being dirty from time to time due to the many campers. It would be beneficial if there were also paper towels available for drying hands because not everyone likes the air dryer. It was also somewhat unpleasant that when using the hand dryer, water splashed against the wall. The doors of the toilets also open outward, which I found disturbing. There are also too few showers available.

Site close to the water. Site staff very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities always clean.

You can pick up rolls at the registration. Italian restaurant at the square. Clean sanitary facilities. There are washing machines and dryers. The lake is very refreshing in the heat.
