Review for the campsite at North Beach. Very quiet and small campsite. Super friendly staff and always helpful. Sanitary facilities are not entirely new but clean and tidy. Unfortunately, there's nothing to buy here. The beach is right by the facility, suitable for both children and dogs. Cyclists will also get plenty of enjoyment here.

The Spreecamp is located on both sides of the Spremberg Dam, my review refers to the northern beach. I was probably about 2 weeks old when I first got to stay at this campsite. I don’t remember that, but I do remember the many years lying in the hammock under the trees, it was a wonderful time. In the meantime, quite a bit has changed, the creepy pit toilets from the 80s have been replaced with modern sanitary buildings with clean showers. :) Overall, it is a great place to unwind and relax. There are many seasonal campers, but it is also very suitable for short trips. Whether you want to rent a bungalow in the woods or a camping spot in the woods, or optionally in a fairly newly created, secured area, it’s up to everyone’s personal preference. There is a small shop where you can stock up during the week, snack options, and a restaurant with a hotel. Otherwise, Cottbus and Spremberg are not far away. The emphasis is definitely on relaxing and unwinding. There is hardly any entertainment, so it is really nice and quiet. Thanks to the lack of widespread mobile network coverage, it is often an adventure to get online, whether with E or D-network, but I see this as one of the greatest advantages. Finally really cut off from the outside world, and finally not reachable anymore. :) For cultural experiences, just head to Cottbus, Branitzer Park, the park railway, the iconic Weltspiegel cinema (even though there used to be an open-air cinema at the campsite, it might be worth reconsidering). Clubs, bars, etc. In short, a clear recommendation for relaxation, for short weekend stays or longer visits.
