Skokloster Camping looks like a small Swedish paradise that could have come straight out of Astrid Lindgren's books. You spend the night in the middle of picturesque nature between Stockholm and Uppsala on the Skohalvön peninsula. It's not far from the shallow beaches of Lake Mälaren. The site with its pitches for motorhomes and tents is surrounded by a mixed forest with enchanting birch trees at the entrance. There are also numerous mobile homes and cabins with a minimalist Swedish design to choose from. Some of them are located at the jetty. The traditional restaurant Sjökrogen caters for your culinary needs at Skokloster Camping.

Great location with a huge backlog of investments, field marshal at the reception, taciturn staff. It could be a really nice place! Sanitary facilities in miserable condition, dirty, sinks partially hang crooked from the wall, are broken, showers are unacceptable. The place and the location are very beautiful! What a shame!

We were in mid-August 2023 for one night with a motorhome at this campsite. The place is really beautifully located, right by the water, near a castle. But the only sanitary building is rather disgusting: it stinks, everything is so old, the showers are only separated by curtains, and the changing table pad is totally dirty. The site is mainly occupied by permanent campers who presumably use their own toilet. The air traffic over the site (from Stockholm Arlanda) is also somewhat disturbing, but at least it doesn't happen at night. There is also a nicely designed mini-golf and a small playground. In the evening, you can order rolls for the next morning, which are even delivered to your site at the desired time. After one night, we left because we didn't feel comfortable there.

The place is quite nice with many play opportunities for children. Mini golf facility. Situated right by the lake. With a great view. The sanitary facilities unfortunately have aged and the number of toilets and wash facilities is too low for the many guests. The owner is very pleasant and funny!
