Year-round camping holiday at the fishing lake

Simme-Camping is located by the trout lake in Zweisimmen in the Bernese Oberland. Surrounded by trees and mountains, the clear waters are an idyllic paradise for fishing holidaymakers. Those who catch char and trout here can grill their catch romantically on rustic fire rings on the lakeshore. Or visitors can enjoy the fish on the campsite's large barbecue area, which is equipped with a cosy wooden hut. Simme-Camping is open all year round and offers a wide range of camping fun even in the snow. The campsite's own ski bus takes winter sports enthusiasts to the Rinderberg cable car in the village centre of Zweisimmen free of charge and in just a few minutes. More than 105 kilometres of pistes await skiers at altitudes of over 2,000m. The ski area also offers toboggan runs, snow parks and many other winter highlights. There is a drying room with ski boot dryer at the campsite. In the warm summer months, there is a large paddling pool where children can cool off. Families also appreciate the child-friendly atmosphere and the playground with swings, slide and trampoline.

Ideal location for leisure activities in the mountains

Nestled between the lake and the river, Simme-Camping has a natural ambience. The rural surroundings with extensive meadows on the northern edge of the village of Zweisimmen contribute to the closeness to nature. From the caravan pitches, guests have a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, which offer numerous hiking routes and excursion destinations for active holidaymakers. After approx. 9 km, travellers reach the Sparenmoos high plateau with its panoramic views and a variety of themed trails. There is a reservoir on the Hornberg, where wakeboarding and water skiing are available in summer. If you want to do some sporty laps, there are two large swimming pools in the outdoor pool in Zweisimmen. There is also a children's pool with a water slide, a beach volleyball court and a Kneipp facility. Adjacent to the swimming pool is an adventurous rope park. At Simme-Camping, guests have the opportunity to have fun playing table tennis outdoors or various games in the cosy recreation room. This is equipped with drinks and coffee machines. A supermarket is only 50 metres away. Further advantages of Simme-Camping include heated sanitary facilities with hot water and free WLAN. Dogs are allowed on the campsite.
