The surroundings are beautiful. Located directly by the lake and accessible on foot to the city. The site itself, however, is not nice. The pitches are mostly narrow for Sweden and the 4 m distance is actually not feasible. Moreover, we have not seen such a dirty site throughout Sweden. The sanitary facilities are old, run-down, and dirty. Unfortunately, you have to stay for the booked time, as you do not get your money back for an early departure. The site is expensive and all activities from the site (like pedal boating, etc.) are totally overpriced.

The ADAC rating is completely accurate, or the place is even slightly better than expected. The sanitary facilities are pleasantly clean. Large wash/shower cabins with toilet are available. We took the opportunity to wash - you get a key for the washroom, so only the two or three people currently washing have access. When all machines are occupied, the next ones have to wait for a free time slot. Very pleasant! The location directly by the lake is very nice. In the afternoons, the wind tends to pick up. No mosquitoes. There is a lot to discover around Lake Siljan. Dog shower warm/cold!
