Seecamping Weisser Brunnen

Terrible. Upon arrival, there was very loud music blaring across the area until late in the evening. The rented bath that we had booked separately was dirty. Apart from a few well-maintained permanent pitches, the rest was really an imposition. The facility in general was not maintained. The forest (Gassistrecke) is closed, as they simply cut down trees and let them hang. (Dangerous, I do this professionally) I put money in the toilet cleaning machine, inserted the cassette, closed the lid ... NOTHING. Then it was said that they had a spare part but had not installed it yet. Then they stick a note on it with DEFECT on it, my goodness. We left early, but there was no refund for the electricity charge or the rented bath ... there was nothing. Picking up food at the restaurant was also an issue. No guests there, but my husband had to wait outside under the roof in heavy rain, he wasn't allowed to wait inside. Money thrown away for zero relaxation.

Unfortunately, no consideration is given here to holidaymakers seeking relaxation. During the peak holiday season, the permanent campers are tinkering with their (illegal) constructions. Only the midday rest between one and three is idyllic.

Poor overall impression. The site appeared overall unkempt and in some parts very cramped. Additionally, there were some long-term campers who were just storing garbage on their spots. Playgrounds in bad condition, so I wouldn’t want my children to play there. We cannot recommend it. We left again. However, the reception was very friendly.

Quietly situated by the lake. The comfort spot was very small. We had problems parking the car. So we won't be going back.

Very nice welcome upon spontaneous arrival with a dog; personal accompaniment to the pitch area (meadow) by the lake (spacious, no crowding). The space and sanitary facilities are excellently maintained. Adjacent forest and large enclosed dog run. Hot water included; a prepaid card is only needed for the shower. Quiet site, friendly long-term campers! We would love to come back!

Super nice reception at the front desk and personal tour to the parking space. Our comfort pitch had a nice size with water and wastewater connections. Other pitches for travelers were rather very small and cramped. The site appeared very clean and well maintained.

It was a wonderful week at the White Fountain. The direct lake access and the beautiful playground offer everything a child's heart desires. The proximity to Bad Segeberg and thus to Winnetou is unbeatable. The only small downside was that it felt like every place had a dog, and these dogs did not always get along with each other.

We were there over Pentecost and we liked it very much. Very nice operator couple. Clean restrooms and shower rooms. Bread roll service on site. Plenty of hiking and biking trails available. The nearest city is Bad Segeberg. We will come back.
