Seecamping Hoffmann

Small, nice campsite (only about 20 pitches). Beautiful lake access, top new sanitary facilities! We were able to use kayaks, pedal boats, and SUPs for free, we have never experienced that before. We ate well both at the beach bar and at the hotel's restaurant. Great staff and very nice host family. We will come back - our favorite spot :)!

Small campsite with about 30 pitches. The pitches are very small and some are difficult to handle without a mover. The toilets are quite new and clean, one of the 2 urinals was defective and seems to have been so for a while. The light in the toilet goes out after 2 minutes and the shower faucets need to be pressed every 10 seconds, otherwise no water comes out, just annoying. The pitches are also very tight. The electricity price of 90 cents is outrageous, and there is also a garbage fee. Overall, the site is just a stopgap solution and is not recommended.

In the meantime - unlike the last review here - the camping comfort has increased enormously... unfortunately, the prices have as well. But very good sanitary facilities, a beautiful wooden pier with an elegant shower after swimming in the lake, and the recently added 5 Seelodges that unfortunately somewhat block the view of the lake for campers, are the price that a regular camper now has to pay. €60 for a spot for 2 people including electricity is already at the higher end of the scale here by the lake. The train line near the spot does not disturb excessively. There is a relaxed and calm atmosphere at the site, and one can comfortably stay here for a few days. The negative aspect is that there are no shopping facilities on the site or in the vicinity. The reception is also not on the site but is located in the hotel Hoffmann situated above the hotel.

Small, very nice campsite with its own swimming beach and pier. Ideal for cycling and boating. Site manager Holger is a true North German soul and gives the place its own unique charm. The beach of the hotel with sauna and sports facilities can also be used. The sanitary facilities are somewhat older but clean and adequate. No entertainment, thus also no rating.
