We were there for 4 days and it was great, sanitary facilities clean and spacious. The daily shuttle to the beach was awesome.

Very nice place, very spacious and steep. A lot of sanitary facilities distributed everywhere. Unfortunately, 2 things are no longer correct in the ADAC Camping Guide: there has been no FKK area for about 4 years, but the bus to the beaches was free this time.

Very large camping area with many pitches (no fixed pitches, you choose your own spot). The terrain is very (very) steep in the back area. If you don't have a free spot in the front area, it can easily take a 15-minute walk to the reception. There are many sanitary facilities, which are always kept

At check-in, it was said that there are available spots. However, the campground does not have designated pitches. You can then choose your spot yourself... which sounds like an advantage, but here it is definitely a disadvantage, as the area is extensive and confusing. Many campers position themsel

Actually, I can only assess that the site is very hard to find: The GPS data is incorrect, the name differs between ADAC and ACSI and reality. Finally found, the site is closed for the next 3 months! Very frustrating!

Shady spots in the greenery, nice restaurant with bar, great opportunities for leisure activities (surfing, mountain biking, hiking), children's playground. Sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated and it's a few minutes' walk to the beach.

The place is very beautiful, offers plenty of shade, and just about every spot has the possibility to hang a hammock. The toilets and showers were clean for a campsite. The check-in was smooth, and the price was totally reasonable.

The cosy Salema Eco Camp Surf & Nature is an ideal holiday destination for all those who want to combine a stay in picturesque nature with surfing. In addition to its focus on comfort, the campsite is also extremely popular with nature lovers due to its ecologically sustainable vision.

Relaxed camping in an idyllic natural setting

The campsite, which is open all year round, offers pitches for 450 holidaymakers on an area of 15 hectares. Standard amenities on the dog-friendly site include sanitary facilities, some electricity connections and Wi-Fi in some areas of the site. However, it is primarily the excellent leisure facilities that attract visitors to the campsite. The site is located in the middle of a coastal forest area, which can be explored on one of the guided hiking tours. Optionally, you can also discover the unspoilt flora and fauna of the region on an extensive bike tour. The campsite's water sports activities are particularly popular. Here you can learn to surf in the deep blue Atlantic with professional help or, with a bit of luck, even marvel at dolphins on a guided kayak trip. With Sagres and its historic fortress just 17 kilometres away, the southernmost point of mainland Europe and one of Portugal's most important cultural sites is also just a stone's throw away. In addition to the wide range of leisure activities on offer, guests also appreciate the ethical and ecologically sustainable concept of the campsite. With a focus on recycling, green electricity and waste avoidance, the campsite endeavours to live in harmony with nature. This is also reflected in the associated restaurant, which primarily serves fresh dishes with organic ingredients from the region.
