The terraced meadow terrain is surrounded by birches and spruces, offering you a wonderful backdrop to relax. It is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling tours and, of course, a visit to the famous Rothaus Brewery just around the corner.

A total of 40 pitches for holidaymakers await you, 21 of which are parcelled. The pitch sizes range between 70 and 100 square metres. The ground consists of grass, and thanks to the terraced layout, you have a beautiful view of the greenery from many pitches.

Q: What prices and extra costs can I expect at Rothaus Camping?

Prices vary depending on the season and pitch. You should consider the following cost factors when planning your holiday: Electricity: The pitches have 16-amp electricity connections, usually billed by consumption. Dogs: Your four-legged friend is allowed on the site, though an additional fee is usually charged. Local tax: The local tourist tax is due on site, but in return, you benefit from the free Konus Guest Card. Gas: There is a practical gas bottle supply on site in case you run out of fuel.

Q: Is the campsite also suitable for winter camping and how is the journey?

Absolutely! The site is a great tip for winter sports enthusiasts. Just one kilometre away, you will find a cross-country ski trail and a ski lift. Since the campsite is at 950 metres altitude, you should definitely bring the right equipment in winter, such as snow chains and winter-proof pegs for the frozen ground.

Q: What are the catering and shopping options on site?

You are well looked after! Directly on the campsite, there is a cosy bread roll service for your breakfast and the excellent "Speckhuisle" restaurant serving regional cuisine right next door. For daily needs, there is a grocery store just 100 metres away, and larger supermarkets can be found in Grafenhausen, 3 kilometres away.

Okay for a Night - But That's It

Horst

Much too small plots, standard caravans including tents and cars have no space, not to mention privacy! Actually a better motorhome site. Agreements regarding parking spaces are not adhered to. For vacationers, there are many nice campsites in the Black Forest - this one does not belong to them.
