River Camping Bled

We had a great vacation. Lots of fun for the whole family. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

We were there in early October 2025 for one night with a caravan, 2 people and a dog at the site. We really liked it, the sanitary facilities were up-to-date and spotlessly clean. The reception and the orientation were very friendly and accommodating. There was a bread service, which wasn't exactly cheap. 7.30 € for three rolls plus 1 croissant is quite a hefty price, giving new perspective to frozen bread rolls. In general, the prices are on the high side, we paid around 50 € for one night with the camping card. I find this a bit excessive considering that the pool and two of the 3 sanitary facilities were closed. The closure is understandable, the season ended a few days later. A word about the ground, which is made of clay. When it rains, it gets muddy.

According to ACSI, the pitch should have cost 27 €, but I was charged 35 €. The pitches turn into a swamp when wet. The accesses are only gravelled and not paved. We did not like the pitch and will not return.

Despite free spots, we had to park the camper on the tent meadow, and this at the full parking price without electricity for little space in uneven terrain. Therefore, only one night.

Great location by the river. We parked our station wagon on a non-numbered area under the trees near the river and slept in the car. We could leave the windows open - NO mosquitoes; the sound of the river was audible. During the day it could be a bit louder near the pool. Top amenities, clean, modern. Bled city center is accessible by a relaxed 40-minute walk.

Modern yet fitting into the landscape. We had a large spot on the right edge with partial shade. Very clean sanitary facilities, nice pool. Large shopping center directly off the highway, Bled easily accessible by foot/bike, Vintgar Gorge TOP excursion destination, Ljubljana perfectly and cheaply reachable by bus. Highly recommended, we will return even if just for a stopover.

Great place for families. Largest climbing equipment I know of, for ages between 1-10 years. Bike course for children from about 4. Bike rental. Very clean. Fair prices. Gravel beach of the river right at the site.

We were a couple for 5 nights at the campground. The assigned spot was covered with tall grass. Since it rained upon arrival, pants and shoes were wet. The campground was extremely full and very loud. Many small children and babies. No consideration is given. From 6:30 AM onwards, there was screaming. The 2 sanitary buildings were completely overloaded. Toilet paper often ran out. There was a queue for the showers. The third sanitary building was closed. Many nationalities and more of a transit site. There was no talk of coziness and relaxation. Additionally, the road above is very noisy. Despite the good location, we will definitely not return.
