My wife and I spent a week this year camping with our RV. We found the time to be very peaceful and enjoyable. The location of the entire site is stunningly beautiful. The spots in the back are very generous. The sanitary facilities were clean, although the showers were a bit cramped. We did not use the dining options. Only the food supply is to be criticized. It is far from sufficient for our needs. So one always has to search and shop outside. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful site, large plots. Many play opportunities for children. Excursion destinations such as Roermond are in the immediate vicinity. All in all, we can recommend the site.

We have always had an off-season pitch (from 01.09 - 31.10) at Oolderhuuske for the last few years, unfortunately, the condition of the site changed quite negatively last year. Sanitary facilities were often dirty, the air bed was rarely inflated for the children especially on weekends, the fries stand by the Maas was closed 75% of the time (the children couldn't get ice cream!) and to top it all off we also had a real rat infestation on the site... The last 3 - 4 weeks were a complete disaster...!!! Every Friday the awning was full of rat droppings and urine, so you first had to clean and disinfect everything for at least 1-2 hours. Camping kitchen gnawed away, awning carpet bitten through, chairs, cables, windbreaks at the caravan chewed through (damage over 700,-). It even happened that you sat in the awning in the evening and the rats still tried to get into the awning... In our row, there were at least 4-5 caravans that were affected, all those that were located near the tennis court (M-row). Upon inquiry at the reception, we were informed that they were aware of the problem and traps (poison) had already been set out... But no one had been informed about it... We were there with small children and a dog, what would have happened if the dog (Labrador) had eaten some poison or one of the children had picked it up and then put their fingers in their mouth...!!! The only reaction at the reception was a shrug...!!! The lady said we should please write an e-mail, which they would then present to the owner...!!! We were appalled by these statements and left earlier...!!! A few weeks ago, I then wrote the said e-mail... In response, I immediately received that it had been forwarded to the owner... No answer or statement from the owner so far!!!! Nothing...!!!! THIS SITE IS NO LONGER RECOMMENDED FOR US...!!!! SUCH BEHAVIOR IS INEXCUSABLE...!!! AND THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A CHILD-FRIENDLY 5 STAR CAMPING SITE...!!!! We will definitely also inform the ADAC and have a lawyer check whether legal action can be taken due to the rat poison...

Spacious plots, friendly staff, clean sanitation facilities. Unfortunately, there's a bit too much Ballermann atmosphere, but if you like that, this is the place for you. Bakery on site.
