My wife and I spent a week this year camping with our RV. We found the time to be very peaceful and enjoyable. The location of the entire site is stunningly beautiful. The Marina Oolderhuuske resort is located in the middle of the extensive river landscape of the Meuse. The idyllic site near Roermond covers an area of six hectares and, in addition to the numerous pitches for permanent campers, has a total of 80 parcelled-out pitches available for guests. There are three different categories to choose from: the land pitches with an area of 80 square metres and an electricity connection, the water pitches with around 100 square metres and an additional fresh water and waste water connection and the similarly equipped comfort pitches.
Situated on a peninsula in the Meuse, a 110 metre long and 20 metre wide sandy beach with a sunbathing lawn invites you to take a dip. Boat hire is available for relaxing moments on the water. Beginners can book sailing or windsurfing courses directly on site. Culinary delights are provided by a restaurant serving typical Dutch and international cuisine. The harbour bar, swimming pool and sauna are located in the same building complex as the restaurant, as is the children's club, where young holidaymakers can get to know each other. Other leisure facilities at the Marina Oolderhuuske resort include tennis, football and beach volleyball. There is also a fitness room and a bike hire service to keep fit or explore the countryside. Children are also well catered for: a playground, a paddling pool, a water trampoline and entertainment provide hours of fun for the little holiday guests.
