Entering the site you’re met by the fabulous reception building. The shower blocks are excellent. White fittings with pale grey surrounds perfectly clean. Hairdryers fixed to wall alongside mirrors. Laundry room had three Miele washing machines, paid by card and two dryers. Ironing boards also. Onsite shop where pastries and bread can be ordered for 0800 collection. The pool area is good. Children are well catered for with numerous play areas. Pitch/rental accommodation: Good mix of pitches with shade or part shade if required.

👍 There was a lovely shady spot during warm weather, and it was also a spacious area. Nice swimming pool and it was peaceful too. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Great spacious spot. 👎 Unfortunately, it was very disappointing that in the last week, many facilities were no longer in use. The breakfast rolls were sold out in the mornings, the restaurant was only offering takeout, even while North Netherlands still had vacation and we were still paying for our two weeks of holiday. Very unfortunate! Pitch/Rental accommodation: Lots of cockroaches.

👍 Beautiful park, definitely recommended for families with children up to around 10 years old. For our kids, the swimming pool was relatively too small; the boys couldn’t play with a ball in the water because of the different exits of the slides (which were great by the way) and due to the many smaller children. The entertainment was also suitable for up to around 10 years. Furthermore, we found it a bit too Dutch, but that’s of course personal. Cleaning was fine, but possibly an extra cleaning round mid-day could be an option when the camping is full. There are always visitors who don’t leave things tidy.... Campsite/Rental Accommodation: Beautiful spacious spot.

🤝 The sanitary facilities are very poor, reeking heavily of urine and poorly maintained. A suggestion: the showers and toilets should be separated, as when you brush your teeth or take a shower, you smell the stench from the toilets. Something needs to be done about this, as other guests were affected too. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Neat 👎 The sanitary facilities are very poor.. The area around the swimming pool should be expanded and more sunbeds added. Otherwise, it looked well-kept, and I give compliments to the staff, who were very friendly.
